Are you an active Member, The Kind that would be missed Or are you just Contented, That your name is on the list? Do you attend the meetings, And mingle with the flock
Or do you stay at home, And criticize and Knock?
Do you take an active part, To help the work along
Or are you satisfied to be, The kind that just belongs?
Do you ever work on Committees, To see there is no trick
Or leave the work to just a few, And talk about the
"Clique"!
So come to meetings often, And help with hand and heart,
Don't just be a member, But take an active part!
Think this over, Sister and Brother,
And know what's right from wrong,
Are you an active member,
Or do you just belong???
Please spare some time and join us all, ask where we can use your help, or jump right in and help we will welcome you with open arms We can't do it alone those that have been helping and volunteering their help are getting burnt out. With out you we can not do what needs to be done. Many years ago this lodge pulled together as a team to build what we have now. Today we can barely sell 50 tickets to a function, and only 6 volunteers to run it. I hear many say they don't get involved because they don't like the group that are involved, well let me be the first to tell you we have a new board of officers and I personally am very proud to have them and I will stand beside them arm in arm and work with each and every one of them. The old regime is now gone. Please I ask every one ALL 477 members on the books to take the time to stop in and lend us a helping hand. Stand for your lodge, I have only ONE Question for you ... Did you take an OATH and pledge that OATH from your heart as I did?
